DESCRIPTION — Classic Loire-style Cab Franc.  Notes of dark fruit on the nose, blue fruit and fig on the palate.  Black pepper, cumin, celery frond, tobacco.  Minor savory notes.  Has tannic structure to age 10+ years.

BACKGROUND — 50/50 blend of Beacon Tree and Stagebridge vineyards fruit, both Monticello AVA.  Neutral oak for 9 months. Jake Busching, Winemaker.

PAIRS WITH — Duck, thick-cut pork chops, BBQ, a high-end pizza.
